I can't help myself...

Ok, I'm sure most of you are SICK to death of seeing video of the boys. I promise, there is more going on in our lives than the boys but I just had to post this last video. I was cleaning the house this morning and noticed that the boys were being EXTREMELY quiet. I tiptoed to their room and found them singing to their Polar Express CD. Now..what gets me is them holding hands. It melted my heart...I just had to share.

Oh..and they caught me taping them so the clip is not super long.

A Wonderful Christmas

Are you ready for the marathon post?!
I am going to backtrack to Christmas Eve. We started out the afternoon by attending a birthday party for 2 year old twins, Grace & Ryland. It was such a fun party filled with FRIENDS & FOOD!
The boys enjoyed some Nintendo Wii while the rest of us chatted & munched on goodies.

THEN we went to the Sarle's house. Laura made us a delicious lasagna dinner! The boys had an absolute blast there. Thanks to Cody & Tony (no, not mine but Amanda's) who entertained the boys.

Notice the picture on the top right..Tony has two wet spots on his shirt..I'm gonna guess that came from the boys :)

We ENDED the night with our yearly tradition of visiting Christmas Village in Ogden with Grandma Linda & Grandpa Norman.

Christmas Morning

The boys slept in!!! I was so excited! I know this won't last long, but we will take it as long as it lasts! They woke up about 7:30.

The boys waiting in the hall to see if Santa came. I have no idea why they are trying to show their muscles. Weird kids!

Isaac finally discovered his presents! (Oh..I wish my house was still this clean!)

After a visit to Norm & Naoma's for breakfast we came home and opened presents.

Thank you to everyone who sent us gifts. The boys really enjoyed Christmas this year! I promised all of the grandparents pictures so here you go...

And because I feel like a horrible parent for having way more pictures of Isaac (in red) than Taylor I have decided to post a video of Taylor playing one of his games.

This is the game they are playing...VERY FUN!

Thank you again everyone for making this such a fun and memorable holiday!

Christmas Program

The boys took part in their first Christmas program yesterday at their preschool. It was so much fun to watch! We ended up sitting back in the far corner (yeah..we showed up on time instead of coming early) but it worked out. I was able to stand on a chair (no short jokes :) ) and take video of the entire program. I was hoping to post a few clips but I haven't found the cable I need to do so. Until then here are a few pictures. They are not the best as it was a little dark in the room & all of the kids have red eyes...Tony can fix that later!

The Gingerbread House

I decided to let the boys decorate a gingerbread house this year for Christmas. Why I do this to myself is beyond me. These are MUCH more difficult to frost than the picture leads on! I have done these in the past and every time I finish one I swear it will be my last...but here we are
again :)

After I put it together and outlined what SHOULD look like windows I heard the phone ring. As I ran into the other room to grab it I heard the following from the boys...

Taylor~ Lets eat all of the candy..
Isaac~ No, mom says we can't
Taylor~ Put this up your nose
Isaac~ (laughing)
Taylor~ MOM!!!

Ok..so as I am talking I run back in and notice Isaac sitting at the counter freaking out. He managed to shove a small candy up his nose!!!!!! I'm not talking barely up his nose..He shoved it all of the way up!!!!!! I hung up the phone (sorry Grandpa Doug) and started to panic as I could feel the ball of candy at the top of his nose. After a few seconds of squeezing his nose I manage to inch it down till it popped out. After I got it out all I could do was laugh!

We finally finished the house an hour or so later...

And because I couldn't resist his face..here is a picture of Isaac holding the piece of candy that came out of his nose....
