Isaac asked for paper and a pen.  After a bit I asked him what he was doing.  He was writing rough drafts.  I asked him what the rough drafts were of.  He then explained he was writing letters to his cousins in Maryland. 

He really misses them.

After a long day of birthday fun, we walked in to give the boys hugs and kisses and we saw this.  Our boys sitting in the dark (yay for flash) staring out the window talking about their day.  I can't believe they are 8 years old today.  I look at them enjoying the most simple things in life and I just smile.
