Tony and I went out last night to a farewell party for one of his friends at work. Overall, it was a good time. We were planning on picking up the boys at the sitters around 10 and the party was all but over at 8. So, we decided to actually have a sit down dinner at a restaurant without kids climbing all over us! The thing that made me laugh is we could have gone anywhere. Trying to decide where to go went something like this....
Tony- Where do you want to go?
Me - Um...Olive Garden?
Tony - Eh..
Me - Outback?
Tony - Eh...how about Applebee's?
Me- Eh...(OK, so many restaurants listed later)
Tony - how about IHOP?
Me - SWEET!
So..out of all the places we could have gone without the boys, we chose IHOP. We had a really nice pancake dinner together.

You know, sometimes it all comes down to just being without the kids every now and again.
Still, I miss a bunch from utah and am thoroughly dismayed that you didn't go to the pub at Trolley Square or the Blue Iguana or I don't know, something distinctly Utah!
That really comes down to not wanting to drive in to and out of Salt Lake City.
Besides, the pub and the red iguana are really easy to get to from work for lunch when we go out for lunch from work. We used to go to the red iguana at least once every two weeks for a while.
