Easter

We had an incredible Easter weekend. I fear most of you have stopped checking our blog due to lack of interest on my part, but I am going to try to get back on track. My mom & step dad came down for Easter. Out of the 6 Easters the boys have been alive they have spent 5 of them with my mom & Doug. I love looking at all of the past years pictures just to see how much the boys have grown.

We had to cram in a lot of activities in a short amount of time. Between movies, eating, 3 Easter Egg hunts, Wii playing (pathetic I am including this as a MUST for the weekend) and a bit of shopping, we were on the go all weekend. I tried to take a lot of pictures this weekend in hopes for making up for the three months past worth of blogging etc. that I have missed out on.

Making rice krispy eggs..so cute & fun!

Teaching the grandparents how to play the new Mario Bros.

Easter Egg hunts..both outside & in a pool!

Dying Easter Eggs..we never got around to actually decorating them

Easter morning...

Saying goodbye..

**I do realize that my children are wearing their jammies in what seems like most of these pictures. They were a gift given from grandpa and grandma & because capes were involved they had to be worn at all times. I promise. Just ask the boys.

Oh Taylor..

We decided to video the boys' reaction as they walked out Christmas morning to see what Santa had left them. I have to admit, I was a little taken back by Taylor's reaction! Isaac was super excited, as you will see here. Taylor on the other hand wanted nothing to do with his "main" gift from Santa. I just had to share because even though he seems totally not interested, it somehow makes me laugh!

We did it!

I have always wanted to make a gingerbread house from scratch. I found an awesome recipe online so I decided to give it a shot this year. Isaac helped me make the gingerbread on Saturday. Tony made the templates and cut out the house and we all helped decorate it! I think it turned out great! Maybe this will become a yearly tradition here..

Toothless Taylor

Taylor lost his first tooth today! It has been loose for about 6 months. He did have a cavity in it, so they decided to go ahead and pull it rather than wait for it to fall out on its own. It has been a very exciting day for him. The bummer part about his day happened when he came home & discovered his tooth he took to school for show and tell was missing. We figured it might happen, but he was so excited to show his class so we decided to let him take it. He has since written an I'm sorry note to the tooth fairy. We will see if she shows up! :)

A little late (video now added)

We recently went on two short weekend trips. One to Colorado & the other to Boise. We had a wonderful time both weekends! While we were in Colorado we received an early Christmas present from Tony's dad. A Flip Video camera. This thing is awesome! I wanted to post a few videos from it. I have been trying to add them, however, we need to do a bit of tweeking first! Stay tuned...

****Video is added now. PLEASE forgive me when watching the videos. I am still getting use to the camera & my hands seem to be a bit shaky! The first three videos are of Mike's house. They give some of you who have asked an idea of how many Halloween Decorations he really has. The last one is of a house the boys went trick or treating to in Boise. They tried to tell the owner of the house that their Grandpa Dude loves Halloween & has a crawling guy too :)
